Operation Rolling Thunder, Alaska

What I am about to share is only the beginning of God moving in Alaska.

In 2003 Alaska received a visit from Dutch Sheets and Chuck Pierce. While here they spoke the following prophetic word over Alaska. “Álaska is My ‘Alpha and Omega’ state. Alaska is a place where things begin and where things end. This state actually has an island on the other side of the International Dateline. Consequently, it literally has the beginning and the ending of each day; Alaska has yesterday, today, and tomorrow within it. God says,” Tell My people to move forward and not back into yesterday! Something aborts you from moving into the new and you slip back into the old pattern. Break the cycle and move into the new! The Lord says, Alaska is the Gateway of the Nation to the Ancient of Days!”

God has given Alaska an assignment as a sentinel and a vanguard for North America. Alaska will open doors for the glory of the Lord to sweep through North America, the Spirit of God will fall, and your people will be sent to train prophets and intercessors. New cycles will begin in Alaska.

Last week, March 16-22, a group of people gathered from all over the state to kick off Operation Rolling Thunder (ORT), a ministry of Watchman Ministries International founded by Tim and Brenda Taylor from Renton, Washington. www.watchmanministries.com

Our purpose:
• To establish 24/7 prayer in and over the state of Alaska.
• Draw together the elders of our city and state.
• Bring together transformation that affects the seven spheres of society (family, church, government, business, media, education and healthcare)
• Unite the body of Christ and work with Apostolic Networks

On Monday, March 16 we were prepared to receive an introduction to the War College, Principles of War taught by Tim Taylor. Unfortunately his plane was delayed and he was unable to arrive for this teaching.

Our response was prayer: God gave us a prophetic picture of a man who appeared to be a commander or one in charge standing in front of a white board poised to write. In front of him was a group of people who were sitting at attention dressed in military uniforms with what appeared to be stars on their shoulders.

We knew this was important to the remainder of the week. We prayed it through knowing the full interpretation would be unfolded. We knew that we were going to be given our assignments by the time we concluded the kick off of ORT.

Tuesday, March 17 we scheduled a gathering for Prophetic Worship and Prayer inviting Gabriel Cross a mighty man of God who carries a gift for the above purpose. The house exploded with what can only be described as “Davidic Worship”. The message from the throne room was “breakthrough Alaska”. God was making His declaration to us and we echoed it back to Him in response. Faith rose and out of this worship came a great knowing that God was going to do what He spoke. From the gathering of 60 God provided Gabriel with an extravagant offering, beyond our wildest expectation. We were all blessed!

Wednesday, March 18 we gathered at the J P. Jones Community Center, in Fairbanks for breakfast, with key leaders who represented the seven spheres of society (family, church, government, business, media, education and healthcare). The purpose was to introduce the vision of ORT and how to build Apostolic Councils with the target of changing society within the seven spheres through prayer.

An exercise was conducted helping identify each sphere and its level of involvement: i.e. government: local, state, national, church, police, military, land management, elections, lawyers, IRS, prison systems, lobby groups, village council, village corporations, and regional corporations just to mention a few. The goal is to build a task force from each sphere to facilitate change through prayer.

Thursday, March 19 was our official kick off. People flew and drove in from throughout the State with eager anticipation of what God was about to launch in Alaska. We knew the time was now! Worship exploded, prophetic words were released, and the word of God revealing His heart was brought forth. The vision for ORT was cast. We knew God was in the house. To be able to move into forward it is of utmost importance to honor those who have gone before us, bringing us to this time and this hour.

May I take this time to honor all the intercessors that never gave up and stood in the gap, crying out for God to move in behalf of their families, people, villages, cities and more. I remember being at the Tanana State Fair booth giving prophetic words when a couple of very quiet unassuming native ladies came in. They sat quietly for their turn to receive a word for God. The prophetic team members waited to hear what God wanted to speak. As I waited on God I became overwhelmed with emotion. His word to them was, “thank you for you have stood in the gap on behalf your family and people, you have seen much heartache but you never gave up, you hammered heaven and I have heard. I will answer your prayers”. The tears that flowed from these two women washed over me and from that day forward I was changed. I received a new understanding of God and how he sees and honors those who have gone before us and have been faithful to the assignment they have received. They are the true trail blazers and pioneers; they are the Abrahams willing to believe. We were thrilled to have Lynne Lawrence, the state coordinator for National Day of Prayer, and three wonderful ladies with her from Seward. We are looking forward to working with Lynne and the National Day of Prayer.

Side note: Fairbanks and North Pole had an earthquake registering a magnitude of over 4. This was at the same time we were worshiping. If you go to http://earthquake.usgs.gov you can see the amount of seismic activity going on in our area.

Friday, March 20 Once again we began with powerful worship introducing the Operation Rolling Thunder song which ignited the room in extravagant praise and worship. As you looked around the room, people from all over the state of Alaska were engaged with one purpose; to see God move through prayer. Later in the evening Tim had opportunity to pray with the elders and prayer warrior from Minto. These are mighty men and women who have stood in the gap for Alaska and their people for years.

Saturday, March 21 This was the first day of spring. In 2nd Chron. 20:1 “In the spring, at the time when kings go off to war.” It says that in the spring the kings go off to wars.
And that is just what happened during ORT.

We were going to do breakout sessions about the seven spheres of society and identify what transformation looks like in these seven areas of business, government, family, religion, healthcare, media and education. Everything was in its place then God showed up. He arranged a demonstration of how we as the body of Christ work as a house of prayer.

It was reported that the governor of Alaska was facing $500,000 in legal fees. We took this matter before the Ancient of Days and interceded on behalf of our sister in the Lord and proceeded to pray and proclaim the word of God (i.e. Psalm 35). Mayor Doug Isaacson led us in a powerful prophetic act. The prayer and actions were timely and responsive to a current situation. Power was projected in many ways in order to establish the Gospel of the Kingdom. His Kingdom come and His will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

At the end of the day there was a commissioning of those who were called to moving Operation Rolling Thunder and connecting the body of Christ together in 24/7 prayer to raise a canopy of prayer over Alaska.

This time was remarkable.
On Sunday, March 22 we continued as God led. Brenda Taylor, a might woman of God, brought a powerful word about the restoration of David’s Tabernacle followed by Tim who demonstrated. in mercy a throne is set for judgment. He pulled a chair up, took the staff and sat down. He then stated “praise creates a big chair for God to come and sit as a judge.”
Daniel 7:9
9 "As I looked,
"thrones were set in place,
and the Ancient of Days took his seat.
His clothing was as white as snow;
the hair of his head was white like wool.
His throne was flaming with fire,
and its wheels were all ablaze.

Daniel watched until the thrones were put in place and the Ancient of Days was seated. Thrones are set for judgment. Daniel goes on to describe how there was one making war against the saints of God and overcoming them:

Daniel 7:22
until the Ancient of Days came and pronounced judgment in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came when they possessed the kingdom.

Where do we go from here?
We pray and obey, building the canopy over Alaska through 24/7 prayer.

This week Freedom in Christ will put what we learned into practice. We are mobilizing our congregation to become a house of prayer starting by taking one day, Tuesdays. Each person is praying their part.

Mount Redoubt Erupts And Strongholds Come Down Jane Snyder

Back in January at a 24 Hour Watch at Nova Worship Center the following was shared during worship on Friday:

Melvin Hardy shared a key word in relation to the volcano in Alaska that everyone is waiting to erupt. The name of the mountain is Mount Redoubt. The key here is the word Redoubt. It is a noun with the following meanings: 1. A temporary fortification built to defend a position such as a hilltop; 2. Stronghold – a castle, fortress, or other stronghold.

On Sunday Mount Redoubt erupted. So far five “explosive events” have occurred with the latest today. Below are the various definitions for the word redoubt.

Function: noun, Date: circa 1608
1 a: a small usually temporary enclosed defensive work b: a defended position: protective barrier
2: a secure retreat: stronghold

Prophetic Word from Scripture
I, believe these 5 eruptions are 5 strongholds that have come down in the spiritual and have now erupted or exploded, and come down in our physical realm. There will probably be more. I will start looking to see what things have changed among the Nations since Jan.24th.
I will continue to write on this as I receive revelation from research with the Spirit.

I received a scripture today on it. (This one form of spiritual revelation.) May it bring you comfort and peace.

Psalm 46:1-7 God is our refuge and strength a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change, and though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea; though it's waters roar and foam, though the mountains quake at its swelling pride.
There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy dwelling places of the Most High. God is in the midst of her, she will not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns.
The NATIONS made an uproar (these are countries or ethnic groups), the kingdoms tottered (these are Religion, Family, Education, Government, Media, Business, Entertainment); He raised His voice, the earth melted (as evidenced in lava) .
